Exclusions to service (This is a summary please refer to terms and conditions)

  • Cover is not provided at policy holders home address or where the bike is normally kept
  • Parts and repairs are excluded
  • Service is not provided outside the UK

Can I cancel my policy?

You can cancel your cover within 14 days and receive a full refund, if the service has been used no refund will be given. If you cancel after the 14 day period no refund will be given. To cancel a policy please call 01604 640900.

How do I make a complaint?

Telephone: 01604 640900 or alternatively email at admin@autohome.co.uk. If we are unable to settle your complaint, you may be able to refer to the Financial Ombudsman Service.

The insurer is covered by the financial Ombudsman service; you may be entitled to compensation from this scheme, if they cannot meet their obligations. It also depends on the type of business and the circumstances of the claim. For claims against insurance firms, the first £2000 of any insurance claim or policy is covered in full, plus 90% of the balance. Further information about compensation scheme arrangements available from www.fscs.org.uk or telephone 0207 8927300.

Benefits of the policy

Level A - A package offering roadside assistance and 20 mile recovery. If your motorcycle cannot be fixed on the spot within a reasonable time, we will recover your motorcycle to the nearest garage or your home address if it is nearer. (This level of cover does not include assistance at the home address or within one mile).

Level B - The UK Plus cover provides all round protection, bringing you the benefits of expert assistance to help you at the roadside and the security of knowing that if recovery is necessary, we will recover the vehicle to your home address or destination. Cover extends throughout the UK and includes mechanical breakdown, accidents, recovery after vandalism and theft. The average call out time is 35 minutes but in many cases help is with you even quicker. The only exclusion is at or less than one mile from your home. This is covered in HOME PLUS. Cover is for the member’s vehicle with any driver.

Level C Home Plus As the name implies, this level of cover provides all the benefits of the UK Plus Service plus assistance with your vehicle at your home. In addition should you be stranded away from your intended destination due to a breakdown, hotel accommodation will be provided. Recovery following breakdown/accident to home or local repairer.
